RISE Ministries has partnered with the Covered Bridge Winery to bring you an experience like no other. Come out and enjoy some wild game appetizers, cheese, crackers, and learn how to make the perfect wine and cuisine pairing.
Enjoy the peace and beauty of the country, hear the soft nicker of our equine friends, listen to a short devotion, meet new friends, and have the ability to make a free will offering to Dress for Success.
All women are welcome to bring a friend! Lemonade, tea, and water will be served as well.

Join us for a day of adventure and spiritual reflection! Experience the beauty of nature on a guided horse trail ride through scenic trails. After your ride, gather together for a meaningful devotion, accompanied by a grilled lunch and photo op with your horse. This event offers a perfect opportunity to connect with God, enjoy outdoor activity, and build community with fellow participants. Whether you’re seeking spiritual growth or simply a relaxing day outdoors, we invite you to join us for this uplifting and memorable experience!
If you do not have a horse but would like to come ride, please reach out. We have a few seasoned horses available for a small donation.
ALL funds go toward the cost of the event and the mission of RISE Ministries, to encourage and support women in both personal and spiritual growth.
Additional Information:
- If you do not want to ride but want to come for the devotional and lunch it is 25$ per person. This portion will begin at 11am.
- There is a $50 fee per person to attend the trail ride and lunch. Limited spots available.
- Please be prepared to provide a copy of UTD Vaccines and Coggins.
- There will be access to a water hose for your horse/s, but please have your own water buckets. We encourage you to also bring some hay for your horse/s to munch on while you enjoy your lunch.
Location Specifics: Event will be held at the Raised Hunting camp site field at the intersection of carriage trail and elderberry avenue.

Now more than ever, women need to feel confident carrying and handling their firearms. Studies show that while many women own handguns, a large number don’t carry because they lack confidence with their weapon. Recent events remind us of the critical importance of being able to defend yourself when the unimaginable happens. If you don’t do it, no one is going to do it for you.
What You’ll Learn: Learn and practice essential skills to carry your handgun with confidence. This workshop is designed specifically for women who want to feel prepared and capable.
Your Instructor: Our instructor brings 10+ years of experience as a detective with a state police agency, with expertise in:
- Field training
- Advanced defensive tactics
- Firearms instruction
As a family man, he understands firsthand the importance of women being able to protect themselves and their families. His relatable teaching style will help you gain the skills and confidence you need.

Faith Over Fear – Glamping Adventure

Join us for a weekend of empowerment and adventure at our Women’s Retreat, Faith over Fear! Whether you’re a seasoned outdoorswoman or not, this retreat is the perfect opportunity to experience glamping, nature and connect with like-minded women, learn new skills, and deepen your faith, in the great outdoors.
We will help you build confidence and overcome your fears. And don’t worry, we’ll also make time for relaxation, reflection, smore’s by the campfire, yoga sessions, and plenty of opportunities to bond with your fellow ladies.

Participants will arrive on August 31st between noon and 5:00 pm, and departure time is noon on September 3rd.
